Founded in 1954, Xiamen Tea Imp. & Exp. Co., Ltd., is a joint venture with its main stakeholder, China Tea Co., Ltd., which is a subordinate of Fortune Top 500 COFCO. We prize our experienced management and technicians in the tea industry. The company cooperates with institutes such as the Tea Institute of China Agricultural Academy and Xiamen University. At present, the company is the largest, most professional tea manufacturer and exporter in Fujian Province.
We have an advanced manufacturing facility and detection lab for pesticide residues, heavy metals, microbes, and chemicals. The foreign material removal process is practically flawless. PLC is applied in monitoring the entire processing line. The tea is first processed with a sifter, winnower, stone extractor, and metal extractor, and then rechecked. An inspection by a Japanese metal detection device finished the process, and guarantees there is no metal, only 0.05-0.1‰ foreign material in the tea. With half a centurys experience in this field, our tea manufacturing management is tops in China, and we have our own proprietary blending and roasting processes.
In 1997, we were the first firm in the Chinese tea industry to receive ISO 9001 certification; we were subsequently HACCP QS certified. We have a 2,667 hectares of export tea growing base, filed by Xiamen SAIECIQ, and a 78 hectares of organic tea growing base. We production base covers oolong tea, pu’er tea, black tea, green tea, and white tea.
Sea Dyke Brand oolong tea, our primary product both at home and abroad market, has five major categories and over 120 producdts, which are shipped to over 40 countries and regions, including Hong Kong, Japan, the EU and the United States, etc.
